Doctor Karl Anderson attended U.C. Davis as an undergraduate, and subsequently worked in hazardous waste remediation in the field of large oil-contaminated land remediation. His love of animals drove Karl to return to his Alma Mater U.C. Davis in 1997 to study veterinary medicine, graduating in 2001.
Dr. Anderson's interests include surgery, internal medicine, and more recently alternative therapies to address pain control. When off work, he enjoys the company of his wife, Lori, their three Peruvian Paso horses, and their two dogs Bella and Conan. His outside interests include golf and he is an avid automobile enthusiast.
Lori has enjoyed working with animals for all of her life. An avid and accomplished horsewoman, Lori has worked passionately for over 20 years training, breeding, and showing Peruvian Paso horses. In the last few years she has transitioned into small animal medicine, and completed veterinary technician courses at PCDI and Penn Foster. In 2010 Lori and Karl married, and became married owners of Animal Hospital at Mid Valley.
Jason moved from southern California in 2010 to join our staff. We have worked with Jason since 2004, and he is trusted family with our hospital. His good natured manner wins over clients and patient's trust very easily. Jason's outside interests include playing guitar and baseball, and just enjoying the beauty of the Carmel landscape.
Joe joined our staff last year and is our newest member. Joe enjoys working with our client's pets, and is considering working toward a college degree, and possibly applying for veterinary school in the future.
Hailey joined our staff in 2011 as a technician during her time off of school. Hailey is studying biology at Cal Poly and is working toward entrance into veterinary school.
Rachel has been with Animal Hospital at Mid Valley since 2006. She is excellent at interfacing with the clientele here to make certain our clients are well-cared for. When Rachel is off work she enjoys spending time with her two dogs and her husband, Sal.
